Douglas (Doug) H. Gilbert is a Partner at DFW Capital Partners, a private equity investment firm focused on forming partnerships with strong management teams in middle market service businesses. DFW manages approximately $1.0 billion of equity capital. Mr. Gilbert has been in the private equity industry for over 25 years.
Mr. Gilbert received his MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Political Economy from Williams College. He is an elder at the Fourth Presbyterian Church where he serves as chair of the fellows, and investment committees. He also serves on the board of ROSE Women's Foundation. Mr. Gilbert is a founding member of Capital For Children and served on the board of one of its sponsor organizations, Live It, Learn It. Previously, he was on the Board of Trustees of The Fourth Presbyterian School, Holy Cross Health System, and Great Dads, Inc.
He lives in Potomac, Maryland, has been married for 28 years, and has four adult boys. His oldest son, Jack, attended Gordon and graduated in the class of 2018.
