Because our faith is deeply rooted in relationship with God, with others, and with the creation, we believe that our learning should also be rooted in these relationships. Out of this commitment, students are encouraged to engage in various sorts of ministry, service, and outreach that is both an expression of their Christian faith, but also a vital means by which they can deepen their classroom learning and further their vocational discernment. Furthermore, we believe all ministry, service, and outreach must be within the context of mutually beneficial relationships where the line between giver and receiver is blurred and both are seen as co-learners and co-creators.

Gordon College Local Outreach teams are dedicated to serving others and being a light for Christ on the North Shore and the greater Boston area. There are many ways to get involved in serving locally, and we encourage students to take the opportunity to join a team in the fall and spring semesters.
All of Gordon's domestic and international ministries are coordinated through the Chapel Office's Mission Department. There are many great opportunities to join a team!
