Vehicle Registration

Every vehicle operated on campus by a student or faculty/staff member must be registered with Gordon Police within twenty-four hours of being brought onto campus. Incoming first-year and transfer students will register during Orientation (Campus Connections session on Saturday; please bring the vehicle registration and proof of insurance when registering). For further clarification, the following people must register with Gordon Police and display a current Gordon College parking sticker on their vehicle:

  • Residential students (this includes residents of outlying campus housing such as Wilson House, Dexter, 26 Hull Street, etc.)
  • Commuter students (both full- and part-time)
  • Grad students
  • Faculty and staff members

Students may have only one car on campus at any given time. If a student needs to change cars, there is no additional charge to register a second vehicle; however, the first vehicle must be removed from campus when the second is registered.

The Gordon Police section on the Go. Gordon site contains a complete description of campus parking and driving regulations. All students are required to be familiar with and adhere to these regulations. New students will be able to access this information on the Go site once the online Gordon identity has been activated.

Note: Commuter students will be automatically charged the yearly registration fee at the start of the school year. Each commuter student must still register a vehicle with Gordon Police within twenty-four hours of arrival to campus and display a current registration sticker on the vehicle. Commuter students who will not use a vehicle at all during the school year may apply for a refund by sending an email request to .
