Parents & Families

Orientation Welcome Week exists to help you and your student get ready for the big college transition. Seeing your student off to college is an important family milestone, whether it’s your first time sending your child to college or your third.

Special Events for Parents and Families

The first two days of Orientation Welcome Week (Move-in Day and Family Day) have special events and information sessions for parents and families. A detailed schedule of those events will be on our Gordon College events app which will be available soon. The purpose of these sessions is to connect you to campus resources and the people you may need to communicate with at some point—like the Financial Aid Office or the Registrar Office.

Saying Goodbye

On Saturday, after the Signing Ceremony, you’ll have a brief time to say one final goodbye to your student before they embark on their own Gordon adventure.
