The Orientation program is an important aid to the College transition for both students and their families. We've designed the Orientation schedule to give both you and your student the best start possible at Gordon College.
Seeing your student off to College is an important family milestone, whether its your first child to college, or the first person in your family to attend college, or you are seeing your youngest child make their own start at college. Gordon Orientation seeks to include parents and families in this time of transition, and design Move In and Family Day programming to support and inform families about their student's and their family's transition to College life.
Please register (on this page!) for the Parent and Family Day programs, and the Faculty Dessert reception on Friday, and Family Lunch on Saturday. The series of information sessions on Friday and Saturday seek to connect you to campus resources and offices your student will need to make, and where you may have business or communication to be made with these departments or programs. We celebrate the launch of your student at Gordon with a special Service of Worship and Commitment on Saturday afternoon, followed by a brief time to say goodbye to your student before they embark on their own Gordon adventure.
If you have a question not answered in our Frequently Asked section or elsewhere on the Orientation site, please call the Center for Student Development (978 867 4263) or email Orientation@gordon.edu.
