LAST SCOT STANDING 2022

Join the Department of Communication Arts, Theatre, and Art for their 2nd annual Stand-Up Competition, LAST SCOT STANDING. 

General Audition/Competition Guidelines:

• Auditions will take place September 26 + 27, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. in BCA 138, please sign-up for a 10-minute slot outside BCA 138 (The sign-up sheet will be posted in September)
• Please prepare 1-2 minutes of stand-up material for your audition (memorization encouraged, but not required)
• Final stand-up routines (for the 6 finalists) are expected to be 5 minutes (a tight 5!)
• Keep it clean ("Would you tell the joke in front of your Grandma?" is a good rule of thumb.)
• If selected for the final round you must be available for evening dress rehearsals (7 p.m.) on 12/5 and 12/6 + the final event on 12/7. 
• Each finalist will be paired with a staff or alumni coach to help refine their act over the semester. Additional rehearsals to be determined between finalists and coaches.
• -We're looking for creative, witty, and polished stand-up acts that will bring laughter and gladness to campus.
