FALL 2023 SMALL GROUP STUDY

One of the best ways to get to know what someone is really like is to listen to what they say about themselves. Even if your friends and family know you really well, at the end of the day, no one knows you as well as, well, you. Believe it or not, the same is true of Jesus. But when Jesus talked about Himself, He made statements like, “I am the Good Shepherd,” and, “I am the bread of life.” As strange as they sound, these statements give us a better picture of who Jesus is. And in this series, as we take a look at the ways Jesus described Himself, we’ll not only learn more about Him, but also more about us and who we are

Kyla is passionate about engaging communities and serving the city of Lynn. She is excited to study the Bible alongside a diverse group of students and to lean into deep relationships with one another while also having lots of fun!

About Allyson:
Allyson loves watching classic movies and gets the best movie recommendations from pop culture references from other movies. She likes riding in airplanes and would love to learn to fly a plane one day! Allyson also loves musicals - her favorite is Wicked.

About Aléthea:
Aléthea is a self-declared plant mom. She loves the sky, especially during sunsets and when the stars are shining. She also loves exploring God’s word and living in prayerful community!

About Jenny:
Jenny is passionate about bringing people together and learning about God. She has been working with youth for two years at her home church in Lowell and makes videos spreading the Gospel on social media. She wants everyone in her small group to know that they are loved by Christ and that He has a plan for each of them!

Abby is a sophomore who has a big heart for the Lord and for others! She wants her small group to be a space where everyone is loved and welcome to come as they are.

About Madi:
Madi is an MK who grew up in China and Malaysia, but she was born in Texas. She loves to swim - the beach is probably her favorite place ever! She loves to bake and cook, and trying new and crazy foods is something her MK heart loves! She loves to be outside, especially if it’s raining, but inside you’ll catch her watching movies or puzzling for hours on end. Madi is so excited to see what God has in store for her small group this semester!
