Henry Hao is an expert in economics for financial professionals. He previously served as faculty for a masters program in International Economics and Finance where he taught international trade, international finance, and financial economics.
Henry, a CFA Level II candidate, earned both his M.A. and Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Davis. While there, he won the Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching Award, Distinguished Teaching Assistant Award, and Leadership and Community Service Award for 2013-2014. His current research centers around the impact of macroeconomic fluctuations on trade, with a specific focus on the performance of Chinese exports during the financial crisis in 2008-09. His most recent publication on this topic appeared in the Journal of Economics, Business, and Management in 2016.
