Anatomy lab dissection

Professional Health Science concentration

The most flexible of the health science concentrations, the professional concentration explores healthcare from a perspective of competence and compassion. We care about the human side of medicine with a servant’s heart. In addition to a strong science foundation and hands-on experiences, you’ll develop the soft skills of compassion, hospitality and care that are critical for success. Health science can also be pursued as a minor to support interested students in other fields.

Why study health sciences at Gordon?

We’ll be with you every step of the way. We are located just outside of Boston, a city the houses some of the country’s top hospitals and facilities for treatment, research and education. Study and take part in hands-on dissection in our advanced anatomy lab, a rare opportunity for undergraduates. Gain real clinical experiences through Gordon’s internship program at Duke University and the Gordon Medical Observership program. You can also pursue an internship at the on-campus Center for Balance, Mobility and Wellness.
