Apply to a Four-Year Honors Program

Global Honors Scholars 

To be eligible, first-year applicants must complete the Gordon College application by November 1.

Students who are admitted to the College and receive the top merit-based scholarship, the Founder's Scholarship, will be invited to apply for the Global Honors Scholars Program.

This application process includes:

  • Completion of the Four-Year Honors Application Form (sent along with your invitation).
  • Attend Honors Day at Gordon, scheduled for Friday, December 6.*
  • An in-person interview with program directors and staff

*Attendance at Honors Day guarantees an interview. 
Students who are interested in the program but unable to travel on this day should contact the Global Honors Institute.
 

A. J. Gordon Scholars

To be eligible, first-year applicants must complete the Gordon College application by November 1.

Students who are admitted to the College and receive one of our top two merit-based scholarships, The Founder's or Harold John Ockenga Scholarship, will be invited to apply for the A. J. Gordon Scholars Program.

This application process includes:

  • Completion of the Four-Year Honors Application Form (sent along with your invitation).
  • Attend Honors Day at Gordon, scheduled for Friday, December 6.*
  • An in-person interview with program directors and staff

*Attendance at Honors Day guarantees an interview.
Students who are interested in the program but unable to travel on this day should contact the Global Honors Institute.
 

Clarendon Scholars

To be eligible, first-year applicants must complete the Gordon College application by January 3.

Students who are admitted to the College and demonstrate a heart for service through leadership in church, community, and school in urban environments, will be invited to apply for the Clarendon Scholars Program.

This application process includes:

  • Completion of the Four-Year Honors Application Form (sent along with your invitation).
  • Attend Clarendon Day, scheduled for Monday, February 3.*
  • An in-person interview with program directors and staff

*Attendance at Clarendon Day guarantees an interview.
Students who are interested in the program but unable to travel on this day should contact the Global Honors Institute.
