Apply to a Four-Year Honors Program

Global Honors Scholars 

To be eligible, first-year applicants must complete the Gordon College application.

Students who are admitted to the College and receive the top merit-based scholarship, the Founder's Scholarship, will be invited to apply for the Global Honors Scholars Program.

This application process includes:

  • Completion of the four-year honors application (sent along with your email invitation).
  • Attend virtual honors events, including informational sessions and current student panels. See the full schedule of virtual events.
  • An interview via Zoom with program directors and staff.

A. J. Gordon Scholars

To be eligible, first-year applicants must complete the Gordon College application.

Students who are admitted to the College and receive one of our top two merit-based scholarships, The Founder's or Harold John Ockenga Scholarship, will be invited to apply for the A. J. Gordon Scholars Program.

This application process includes:

  • Completion of the four-year honors application (sent along with your email invitation).
  • Attend virtual honors events, including informational sessions and current student panels. See the full schedule of virtual events.
  • An interview via Zoom with program directors and staff.

Clarendon Scholars

To be eligible, first-year applicants must complete the Gordon College application by January 3 (admitted students who are eligible will receive the Clarendon Scholars application, which is due by February 1).

Students who are admitted to the College and demonstrate a heart for service through leadership in church, community, and school in urban environments, will be invited to apply for the Clarendon Scholars Program.

This application process includes:

  • Completion of the four-year honors application is due February 1 (sent along with your email invitation).
  • Attend virtual honors events, including informational sessions and current student panels. See the full schedule of virtual events.
  • An interview via Zoom with program directors and staff.
