Our annual leadership awards will also be awarded to current students during Convocation.

Theater Production: Freud's Last Session (Tickets Required)
Come see this off-Broadway hit imagining a conversation between legendary psychoanalyst, Sigmund Freud, and his guest, C. S. Lewis. This deeply touching play is filled with humor and wit while exploring the mind, heart and soul of two brilliant men who come at the greatest questions of all time from very different perspectives. Admissions would like to provide three complimentary tickets per family to our visiting students and families! Any additional tickets must be purchased. Please contact Rachel Yankey at to reserve your tickets by September 11.

5:30 p.m.

Scottie Bowl (Optional) 
Experience the Fighting Scot spirit during Gordon's annual All-Star Flag Football game. Whether it's the sideline interviews, free food, t-shirts, face painting, lip sync battle, or fast-paced flag football, we know one thing; you won't want to miss it! Tailgating starts at 5:30 with kickoff at 6:30.

8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m.

Scot Trot
Lace up your shoes and race for the prize in Gordon's classic 5k Scot Trot (9 a.m.) and the annual Kids' Fun Run (8:30 a.m.)! The free Kids Fun Run is for ages 10 and under. For a $20 fee, participants of the 5k Scot Trot will race around the quad and through the Gordon woods. Please register by September 11.

10 a.m.–5 p.m.

Outdoor & Family
We've got fun (and some educational) activities for the whole family, including a nature walk with Dr. Dorothy Boorse of the Biology department, rock climbing at the La Vida Rock Gym, swinging through the trees on the La Vida Flying Squirrel and Giant Swing, a Curious George storytime hour, a science carnival, and much, much more!

Athletics Events
Cheer on the Fighting Scots during home and alumni games and matches!

11 a.m.–5 p.m.

Live Music
Join us at the Welcome Tent and enjoy performances from our lineup of Gordon alumni and student musicians.
