Jarrod Goentzel
Our Convocation speaker is Dr. Jarrod Goentzel, founder and director of the MIT Humanitarian Response Lab in the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics and is a research lead for the MIT Comprehensive Initiative on Technology Evaluation sponsored by USAID. His research focuses on meeting human needs in resource-constrained settings through better supply chain management, information systems and decision support technology. Dr. Goentzel balances theoretical and applied work through active engagement with the private sector, government agencies, humanitarian, international development, and community organizations on several continents. He has over 20 years of experience designing supply chains and developing information technology solutions.
