What should I expect the first time I meet with a trainer?
During your initial session with a trainer, they will learn about you and what you hope to accomplish from personal training. They will explore your exercise history and discuss with you any injuries or medical conditions that might have an effect on your training. With this information, they’ll lead you into the beginning stages of your exercise program.

What can I expect to be instructed in during my sessions?
Exercise should be fun and we want your personal training experience to be both beneficial and a good time. Our trainers focus on the main components of physical fitness: flexibility training, cardiovascular exercise, resistance training, balance and the basic components of nutrition. CBMW trainers will manipulate the balance of these 5 components to help you meet your goals.

What are the certifications and backgrounds of CBMW trainers?
As a minimum, our trainers carry with them at least one nationally recognized certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM, NSCA, etc.) and/or successful completion of a BS in Exercise Science or related field from an accredited college or university. The majority of our trainers have additional certifications related to specific populations. Each year they acquire continuing education credits to maintain these certifications.

What if I have a special health condition that might affect my program?
The background and certifications of our trainers allow us to cater to those in pre/post-rehabilitation, those with cardiac/pulmonary issues, and those with other chronic or progressive diseases. Our trainers will work closely with your doctor or other health professionals to ensure that your program is safe and effective!
