Annual NYC Art Museum Trip

Friday — Contemporary art focus
7–11:30 a.m. Drive to NYC
11:30–1 p.m. Eat lunch and meet with gallery director
1–4 p.m. Visit the Whitney Biennial at the Whitney Museum of American Art
4–5 p.m. Meet with a curator at non-profit art space in Manhattan
5–6 p.m. Meet with a gallery director at one of the top galleries in Chelsea
6–8 p.m. Dinner
8–10 p.m. Enjoy a performance art show at The Kitchen

Saturday — Modern art focus
9–10 a.m. Studio visit with a NYC-based artist
10 a.m.–2 p.m. Visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Met Breuer
2–3 p.m. Meet with gallery directors on 57th Street
3–6 p.m. Visit the Museum of Modern Art
6–7:30 p.m. Dinner and studio visit
7:30 p.m.–12 a.m. Free time (go see a film at Lincoln Center or a dance at Juilliard!)

Sunday — Medieval and liturgical art focus
9–11 a.m. Worship together at a church in Manhattan
11 a.m.–12 p.m. Lunch / studio visit with NYC-based artist
12–2 p.m. Visit the Met Cloisters (medieval art and architecture in the form of a monastery)
2–6 p.m. Drive back to Gordon
