Gordon College Welcomes Erin E. Devers, Ph.D, As a New Professor of Psychology

WENHAM, MA-Erin E. Devers of South Hamilton, MA, recently joined the faculty at Gordon College as a professor of psychology. Devers received her doctorate in social psychology from Indiana University in 2007 and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Huntington University in 2002.

Devers' current research focus and that of her dissertation revolves around the way women experience emotions differently when in groups. Publications in process include the empathic accuracy of self-handicappers and identifying the link between positive mood and creativity.
