WENHAM, MA-The 2008 edition of "America's Best Colleges" by U.S. News & World Report has listed Gordon among the nation's 248 best liberal arts colleges. Gordon is the only nationally ranked Christian College in New England and one of only fourteen Christian colleges in the CCCU (Council for Christian Colleges and Universities) ranked nation-wide.

U.S. News & World Report assesses hundreds of liberal arts colleges based on several key measures of quality including academic peer assessment, faculty resources, graduation and retention rates, student selectivity, financial resources, alumni giving and graduation rate performance. To be included among the final list, schools must emphasize undergraduate education and award at least half of their degrees in the liberal arts.

U.S. News & World Report's 2008 edition of "America's Best Colleges" provides exclusive rankings of over 1,400 schools and provides helpful tips for college bound students. Of all categories ranked by this publication, the liberal arts listing is considered among the most competitive. Gordon has continually received strong rankings within this category in recent years.
