“The PBI family maintained friendships for the rest of their years,” reports Richard and Carolyn’s son, Richard ’60B. The couple served Baptist churches in Clinton, CT; Medford, MA; Woodbury, NJ; Portland, ME; and Framingham, MA.
Carolyn went to be with the Lord Nov. 10, 2012, at the age of 104, at Quarryville Presbyterian Home in PA, where she had resided for 28 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, in his 100th year in 2011, and is survived by her son, Richard, 5 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
