After shadowing President Lindsay for a day, Gordon College Student Association President Ken Hallenbeck was invited back to Lindsay's office to work as an assistant to the president several nights a week. This experience, the Gordon senior says, has been invaluable as he prepares to graduate and embark on his journey into the wider world. For his part, Lindsay delights in the work of developing the skills of young leaders—and he views it as a personal responsibility that comes with his position: “I told myself that if I ever had the chance to be in a senior leadership position, I would make sure to take on some measure of mentorship."
