A fun week of hands-on learning and discovery! Students will explore the wonders of nature at work through physics, biology and chemistry, and tap into their own creativity through an engineering contest as well as solving problems with robotics and computer science.

STEM Academy Staff
Alex Conant is a STEM teacher at Holten Richmond Middle School in Danvers, MA, and a Lecturer in Education at Gordon College.
Academy Group Leaders consist of both current and former Gordon College students who will supervise all activities and projects, sharing their love of science with students.
Schedule
Each day will be packed with a variety of STEM lessons, labs, and indoor and outdoor activities and challenges. Mornings will focus on labs in chemistry, forensics, biology, robotics, and physics. Afternoons will focus on engineering projects in which students will work with a partner on a challenge, culminating in a contest on the final day of the academy.
