In Case of Inclement Weather

In the event of extreme weather conditions, the Commencement ceremony will not take place on the quad. Instead, it will be held indoors in the Bennett Center. In the event that the ceremony must be moved, seating will be limited to four guest tickets per graduate, which are given to seniors at the Cap and Gown Distribution Day. The doors at the Bennett Athletic Center will open at 9 a.m. The ceremony should end by noon.

Unticketed guests will find comfortable seating and large-screen viewing in the MacDonald Auditorium in the Ken Olsen Science Center.

Drivers will be able to drop off passengers in a designated area in the Ferrin parking lot across the street from the Bennett Center. Drop-off directly in front of the Bennett Center or along Grapevine Road is prohibited. A shuttle from the Woodland Parking Lot and The Academy at Penguin Hall will transport passengers to the front door of the Bennett Center.

Online streaming of this event will be available through the Gordon College website at www.gordon.edu/commencement/live for those not able to attend in-person.
