As part of the student government's aims and tasks, the Gordon College Student Association (GCSA) administers and funds the many clubs and organizations that you can be a part of as a student. It also provides a venue for you to communicate ideas for new clubs that meet new interests and needs that are important to you.
Here's a few clubs and organizations you could join:

Academic
Clubs that coincide with specific academic areas include:

Councils
Councils that affect daily life at Gordon include:

  • Academic Affairs Council (AAC): improves the academic environment at Gordon, oversees academic clubs
  • Advocates for Cultural Diversity (ACD): promotes cultural diversity and awareness
  • Campus Events Council (CEC): enhances the quality of social life for the Gordon community
  • Student Venues Council (SVC): administers current and develops new student hang-out and study locations

  • Civil War Society: reenacts life and battle scenes from the Civil War era
  • Trash Club: weekly collects the trash of every woman's dorm room on campus
