The Gordon College Student Ministries (GCSM) encourages whole-life discipleship to Jesus Christ among Gordon students. GCSM offers leadership opportunities and programs for students to explore, express and deepen their relationship with God and their understanding of the Christian faith. This exploration happens through three different branches of ministry: Worship, Discipleship and Missions. Our Worship and Discipleship Branches facilitate spiritual formation through: small groups and encouraging spiritual friendships, mentoring opportunities and worship teams. See below for more details.

Small Groups
Small Groups meet weekly for prayer, fellowship, and Bible study. These groups focus on a particular topic and they allow students to develop close relationships with one another.
Mentoring Programs
Gordon College Student Ministries hosts two different mentoring programs which connect student mentees with mentors who are older peers, faculty or staff.
Gordon's worship teams lead and contribute to worship services on campus through music, drama, and the arts.

"I have been a leader of many small groups throughout my lifetime. However, most of them don’t compare to this one. These men and women have an urge and desire to grow with and through one another with a rapid pace that I know only God’s hand could control. God provided me with strength when I hit a really hard place in my life this semester; he made me strong and that perseverance rubbed off on the rest of the group. People were overall dedicated on being there, participating, accepting and doing my challenges. The group was a blessing that I will never forget. I am so thankful to God and him alone for providing me with this opportunity, these people, this group, and His Word."

"Leading Lazarus at the Gate was an experience that I will never forget. Not only did I grow as a leader and a follower of Christ, but also I watched others do the same. The accountability provided in this small group setting was unlike any other I had ever experienced, and I know I grew to new levels with the structure provided for me. Learning about global poverty is never easy, but it was certainly interesting and enlightening with a group so devoted to simplifying their lives in order to reduce it. I am so thankful to GCSM for allowing us to pilot Lazarus at the Gate this year, and letting us run it again in the fall!"
