The scholarship package administered by the Institute for International Education (IIE) is intended to completely cover the cost of attending Gordon College, for a student admitted and confirmed to the Science Without Borders program.
IIE makes arrangements to the student’s bills for Gordon College tuition, fees, room, board, and health insurance during the 12-month program. IIE makes arrangements to cover the cost of the student’s round trip airfare from Brazil to Boston, and Gordon College provides free transportation from the airport to our campus. IIE also provides a monthly stipend to cover the cost of books and other incidental educational expenses. Additional costs are also covered through the Science Without Borders program, and are explained further on the official IIE website detailing program finances.
Please also note that IIE provides J-1 Visa sponsorship and administers the necessary J-1 Visa paperwork for Science Without Borders students at Gordon College.
