RESTORE CREATION 2008
This year we were very pleased by the involvement of students with our Restore Creation program during Symposium. We were able to offer a variety of activities; see below for a quick summary of the activities that were participated in.

Trash du jour
This year we took all of the trash created in one day by the Gordon community and put it outside the student center for all to see the quantity, how much they are recycling, and to encourage everyone to do better.
"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. "
--Ephesians 2:10
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT RESTORE CREATION
What is Restore Creation?
Restore Creation Day is an annual environmental awareness event held at Gordon College. The focus is on stewardship and environmental responsibility from a Christian perspective.
What happens during Restore Creation?
Restore Creation is different every year. In Spring 2008 we focused on the theme of reducing, reusing, and recycling while combining global as well as local environmental concerns. Past events have included tree planting, trash pickup service projects, a panel discussion about global environmental issues, a self-guided poster walk and a guided walk on Gordon's trails.
How can I be involved with Restore Creation Day?
Volunteers are needed annually to run the events, help make posters about environmental issues, come up with creative advertising ideas, and prepare two short video segments on recycling. Please feel free to join us even if you've never done any of that before; as long as you have enthusiasm, we'd love to have you.
