Recipients of Provost's Awards

The Provost's Awards began in 2007 as a way of honoring full-time staff members for their roles in the education of Gordon students.  Traditionally at Commencement the College presents two distinguished faculty awards.  The Provost's Awards were designed as companion awards to recognize two staff members each year who make substantial contributions to students' learning, both in and beyond the classroom.

The awards are based on nominations from the college community, with a final selection made by the Provost's Council.   Awards are presented in the winter or early spring before one of the Chapel or Convocation programs. The names of past recipients are listed on the left, with links to the texts read during the presentation of the awards.
