Recipients of Distinguished Faculty Awards

Each year at Commencement the provost announces the recipients of the Junior and Senior Distinguished Faculty Awards.  These awards salute faculty members for their teaching, scholarship, and service.  The awards are based on nominations from the senior class, and the final recipients are chosen by a panel of previous award winners.  The Junior Distinguished Award is given to an assistant or associate professor; the Senior  Distinguished Award is granted to a full professor.  On the left is the list of previous recipients along with the texts read during the presentations of the awards.
