Alyson has worked in Academic Support for 14 years. She has a B.A. in Social Work and Sociology from Gordon College and a Masters in Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

Pam has worked in the Academic Support Center since 2005. She previously worked for the Admissions Office and was a Resident Director at Gordon. She has a B.A. in Psychology from Gordon and a Masters in Social Work from Boston University.

Writing Center Coordinator
Lynn is the Coordinator of the Writing Center at Gordon and is also on the English Faculty. She has a B.A. from Ohio State University and an M.A. from Salem State College.

Administrative and Academic Accommodations Assistant
Megan has worked in the Academic Support Center since 2014. She graduated from Gordon in 2014 after majoring in English Language and Literature.
Judy Swanson, M.A.
ELL Academic Counselor
Judy has worked in the Academic Support Center since 2015. She has a M.A. in teaching English as a Second Language from Salem State University.
The mission of the Academic Support Center is to encourage and equip students to achieve their God-given potential for academic success, acknowledging that Gordon's community of learners is made richer through the contributions of all students. Students are encouraged to develop self-awareness as learners and to investigate new strategies and techniques for effective academic performance. Professional staff members are available to assist all students with issues related to disabilities or other concerns that affect a student's general academic progress. Special academic accommodations are arranged for students who qualify for such services.
The Center's programs are holistically designed to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students and to recognize and develop the gifts of each student. This approach values student growth as a process and encourages students to utilize their strengths and to seek assistance for academic development.
