Jerusalem University College (JUC), also known as the American Institute of Holy Land Studies, is an extension campus for Gordon students in Jerusalem, Israel. The program allows you to study the Christian Scriptures where the events occurred as well as study Middle Eastern:
Global Understanding core credit can be fulfilled by this semester program when students participate in the pre- and post-departure New Perspectives course. Lab fees apply as of Fall 2013. Visit the GEO for details or go to the GEO Global Understanding webpage.
APPLICATION PROCESS
All Gordon students applying to JUC must first submit an online seat application (link available to Gordon students only) to participate in a Global Education program. Only after you have been approved by the Global Education Office for study abroad, may you proceed with JUCs online application.

See the JUC website for further information. Applications to JUC are due 3 months before the start of the program.
SPECIAL NOTE
Israel is still under a modest US State Department travel warning. Students and their parents should be aware that travel to Gaza and to the West Bank is still dangerous and should be avoided. All travel related to courses and trips arranged by JUC are aboard chartered transportation. Every effort is made to ensure student safety.
COST
You will be eligible to maintain all scholarships toward the cost of the program. The regular cost of a 16 credit semester at Gordon covers:
A scholarship program ($600-$1000) is available for application directly through JUC and can be filed along with the regular application.
