Barry Rowan has over thirty years of senior leadership experience building technology-based companies across a range of industries, and is currently the EVP and CFO of Gogo Inc., the in-flight internet company. Barry has served in multiple general management roles and as CFO for three public companies previously, including Cool Planet Energy Systems, Vonage, Nextel Partners and Fluke Corporation. He has been a director for public and private companies as well as for many non-profit organizations including InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Seattle Pacific University, the Gonzaga University Entrepreneurial Leadership Program, advisory boards for Harvard Business School, and served as president of Bellevue Christian School.
Barry is married to Linda, his best friend and wife of over thirty-five years, and they have two grown sons in their late twenties. He and Linda are committed to walking with the poor together and as a family through their work in Central America, as members of the National Leadership Council of World Vision, and through local organizations.
Barry earned his M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and his B.S. summa cum laude in Business Administration and Chemical Biology from The College of Idaho.
