Denise M. Campoli joined the Gordon faculty in the spring of 2014 as a Spanish adjunct. She has taught Spanish and French at the middle and high school level, led student and adult trips to Spain, France and England, participated in NEASC accreditation teams in New England and internationally, and served as Foreign Language Department Chair in Amesbury, Ma. Institutional Research Analyst
Born and bred in Beijing, China, Lei has been teaching Mandarin part-time at Gordon since 2011. She enjoys bringing cultural aspects to her language classroom to create a positive learning atmosphere. Her goal for the students is to not only communicate confidently in Mandarin, but also communicate in a way that’s effective, engaging, and culturally sensitive. Lei also works full-time as a research analyst at Gordon.

Richard Ladd joined the Gordon faculty after a long career at Ipswich High School and a brief retirement stint at North Shore Christian School. During his tenure, he encouraged students to learn to speak, read, write and understand Spanish and French; his classes are always different but at the same time very similar; his uncustomary lesson planning works. Associate Professor of Spanish
Dr. Pérez Serrano is from Córdoba, Spain, and joined the Gordon faculty in the fall of 2002. She studied English and Spanish Literature at Gordon College and Brandeis University and she received her Ph.D. in Hispanic Studies from Boston College. Her interests include 20th and 21st Century Spanish theater, novel and film as well as literary theory and cultural studies.
