VISION
The Gordon-in-Aix program provides students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the French language and culture. The program is set up in conjunction with the Institut d'Études Françaises pour Étudiants Étrangers (IEFEE) of the Université Paul Cézanne Aix-Marseille III and with a coordinator associated with the Faculté Libre de Théologie Reformée in Aix-en-Provence. The program emphasizes gaining fluency in the French language. Qualified students may also take other courses.
QUALIFICATIONS
French majors at the College are required to study for a full year in Aix (late September/October - May). Those with advanced levels of French may study for the spring semester only. French minors and other students with the encouragement of the French faculty may apply to Gordon-in-Aix.

*Non-Gordon students are welcome to apply for the spring semester.

DEADLINES -- NOTE THE CHANGE TO AIX DEADLINES FOR THE SPRING 2010 SEMESTER ONLY!!
Yearlong Program: Gordon students must submit their online seat applications for Gordon in Aix by February 15. All other supporting materials due by February 28. Non-Gordon applicants must submit their online application and all supporting materials by February 28.
Spring Semester: Because of some of the recent and ongoing challenges of the French visa, the GEO would like to offer the students applying for spring semester at Gordon-in-Aix a little additional time for that process. To do that, we are moving forward the deadline for supporting materials to October 10 (rather than October 15). This change only applies to Gordon-in-Aix for Spring 2010 only!
Gordon students may submit their online seat applications before the September 30th seat application deadline in order to facilitate this earlier October 10th deadline.
Non-Gordon applicants are encouraged to submit applications by the GEO by October 10th deadline, but applications from visiting students will be accepted through October 15.
COST
Students pay normal Gordon costs* per semester including:
