Symphonic Band

The Gordon College Symphonic Band, the largest of all of the Music Department's ensembles, consists of approximately 70 musicians from the Gordon student body, who are joined by alumni and other members of the local community. Directed by Dr. David Rox, the Symphonic Band rehearses once a week and performs five concerts annually, including the Thanksgiving Festival in November and the Annual Pops Concert in April. The ensemble plays a variety of literature ranging from standard classic works for band to concert marches and popular medleys.
