David Cameron retired in 2011 as the president and CEO of The Boston Company Asset Management, where he oversaw the firm’s investment, distribution and operating divisions. He now serves as a consultant to BNY Mellon Asset Management.
Earlier, he served as a managing director of Standish, Ayer and Wood, where he headed up the equity business and managed the firm’s hedge fund strategy; as a portfolio manager at Baybank Investment Management; and as a research analyst at Arrow Bancorp. He received his B.A. in economics and political science from St. Lawrence University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst™.
Mr. Cameron and his wife, Patricia, reside in Hamilton, Massachusetts, and pursue a variety of interests including scuba diving, boating, golf, tennis, downhill and cross-country skiing, and travel. They have three daughters: Kate, Carly and Annie (a 2009 graduate of Gordon College). They worship at First Baptist Church in Manchester-by-the-Sea.
