David Cameron retired in 2011 as the president and CEO of The Boston Company Asset Management, where he oversaw the firm’s investment, distribution and operating divisions. From 2012 to 2014, Dave consulted for BNY Mellon Asset Management. Today, he presides over his own investment advisory firm, Kingfisher Capital, advises Alpha Pack, a technology start-up company, and serves on the Advisory Council of Young Life, Boston.
Earlier in his career, Dave served as a managing director of Standish, Ayer and Wood, where he headed up the equity business and managed the firm’s hedge fund strategy; as a portfolio manager at Baybank Investment Management; and as a research analyst at Arrow Bancorp. He received his B.A. in economics and political science from St. Lawrence University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst™.
