Mr. David L. Beatty

David L. Beatty is founder and chief executive officer of Daintree Advisors. 

Mr. Beatty began his career in financial services at Price Waterhouse, where he became the lead personal tax and financial planning advisor in the company’s Boston office. Before founding Daintree in March of 2010, Mr. Beatty held several high-ranking positions within several financial institutions. He was the regional managing director and a member of the Investment Committee of Calibre Advisory Services, multi-family office within Wachovia Bank; Prior to this, Mr. Beatty was the founder and CEO of Tanager Financial Services, Inc.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate, Mr. Beatty received a B.A. from Wesleyan University. He then earned a Masters of Management from Northwestern University’s J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where he was an Austin Scholar. Mr. Beatty is a certified public accountant, holding the designation of certified financial planner.

Dave and his wife Ellie live in Newton, Massachusetts, where they welcome as many visits as possible from their college-age sons, Joel and Ian. An avid cyclist, Dave also enjoys birdwatching, gardening and charitable interests.
