A. J. Gordon Scholarship
The A. J. Gordon Scholarship is awarded to incoming students who we recognize as emerging Christian scholars and leaders. The scholarship is awarded to top high school applicants who show advanced academic achievement, academic promise and curiosity, and who have engaged their local church and community with their time and talent. The award comes with a first-year honors curriculum. Learn more about qualification for the A. J. Gordon Scholarship.
The Honors Seminar
The Great Conversation Honors Seminar is a common Core curriculum course for A. J. Gordon Scholarship recipients, exploring foundational aspects of faithful living and learning. A parallel common core section is required for all Gordon students; A. J. Gordon Scholarship recipients extend the reach and depth of this course material in the Honors sections. Course sections are led by select faculty shaped by student writing and dialog focused on traditional and contemporary themes. Course sections are shared in a small-group format (10–15 students) highlighted by visiting lectures, guests, and opportunity to engage service while learning.
A. J. Gordon Scholarship recipients may be considered for the A. J. Gordon Fellows program - a small, cohort-based learning experience designed to challenge select students to advance their personal and professional development. Find out more about the A. J. Gordon Fellows here.
