RESOURCES AND PROGRAMS
General Academic Support
The Academic Support Center offers a range of support resources to help and equip Gordon students academically, including one-to-one academic support with our academic counselors and workshops on a variety of topics.
The Academic Support Center is the designated disabilities office on campus, working in conjunction with departments, offices, and faculty to deliver appropriate accommodations to qualified students.
The ASC provides small-group tutoring with a trained peer tutor for a variety of courses, including most core classes and language classes.
The Writing Center
Our office is home to Gordon’s Writing Center, where trained peer writing tutors meet with students about their papers and essays, guiding them at any point in the writing process, from brainstorming to final revision.
The Academic Support Center meets with students whose first language is not English to help them adapt to American standards of academic discourse.
First Year Offerings
The Academic Support Center offers two courses geared toward first-year Gordon students to support them academically and socially in their transition to Gordon.
