Remembering that we live and learn within a particular place, Gordon in Lynn (GIL) is a dynamic and exciting partnership between Gordon College and our neighboring city Lynn. Through relationships with various community organizations in Lynn, students can engage, learn, and serve in a diverse, urban community.
For students ready to break out of the Gordon bubble, there are several ways to get involved. Lynn is only 30 minutes away and is a fantastic place to connect your passions, vocation, and learning in meaningful ways.
Freshmen and transfer students enrolled in The Great Conversation course may opt into a service section to complete academically-based service learning for course credit.
Upperclassmen may apply to be a Gordon in Lynn intern to participate in a mentored leadership development experience and lead students in service and reflection.
