The internship experience is the final piece to the Nonprofit Management and Social Entrepreneurship minor. Students go out and serve nonprofit organizations, expanding on and putting into practice those skills they learned in the classroom. The opportunity is designed to benefit both the traditionally understaffed nonprofit and the inexperienced student.
Gordon's location is key to the success of the nonprofit internship program. The North Shore and Boston are rich with history and provide a significant number and types of nonprofit organizations for students. Generally, students will intern at an organization that fits with their own personal passion as well as being assigned work that matches their own skill set.
