Accomodation

Located within walking distance to the center of Salzburg, the Seminar Hotel Haus Aigen is exclusively reserved for the Salzburg Institute Summer School. The Hotel, which features a beautiful terrace and a small private garden, offers generous rooms, all with private bathrooms. Bedding and towels are provided and can be changed daily. The hotel also features two PC’s with high speed internet, a washing machine and a dryer.

All courses, except for the art studios, take place in one of the five hotel seminar rooms. Included in the program costs are breakfast and lunch at the hotel. In the mornings, the hotel features a typical Austrian continental breakfast bar. For lunch, students can choose between at least two menus, one of which is vegetarian.

In Vienna, students stay in a hotel in Vienna’s 10th district conveniently located near streetcar and subway stations and within walking distance of the Volkshochschule Favoriten, where the daily Salzburg Institute seminar is held. The program covers breakfast and lunch or dinner in Vienna.

Cost

Program costs include: Tuition for 8 credits, site fees, meals and lodgings (see above description), transportation to Salzburg from Munich airport, four-day study trip to Vienna, and non-refundable application fees, totaling $5,995.
