Group Events

The La Vida Rock Gym is available to host your event! We offer private rentals for birthday parties, school groups, youth groups, scout troops and more. A private event may be a time of celebration, games, and fun activities, or it may be an eight-week climbing course offered by a school to promote fitness. Suggested age for most event types is eight and up.

GROUP rates

Rates are based on a two-hour time slot. A $50 non-refundable deposit and group reservation form are due two weeks prior to the event in order to confirm the time slot. Gordon College faculty and staff may be eligible for an event discount. There is an additional $25 cost for rental of a seperate party room.

1–6 participants $175
7–10 participants $225
11–15 participants $275
16+ participants * $325

* For groups over 16 people additional fees may apply to cover staffing costs


AVAILABILITY

During the school year, events are usually held on Monday-Thursday afternoons, Friday afternoons/evenings, and Saturdays.

During the summer, events may be scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evening or on Saturdays.

FORMS

Group reservation requests may be made by submitting the online registration form.

Also available for download is the "Event Waiver." All participants must bring a copy of the two-page waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian in order to climb.

School groups or other organizations must also provide a copy of their certificate of insurance.
