Gordon College Symposium Series

At Gordon College, it is our desire to stand with those who are working to reach and mold the next generation. One of the ways we do that is through the Gordon College Symposium Series. Through this series, we bring some of the top speakers in the country to address timely issues. These symposiums, designed with the specific audience in mind, are held both on the Gordon College campus and at other locations around the country. Please see the listing below for upcoming events.

Youth Ministry Symposiums

The world of youth ministry is truly at the front lines of the church's engagement with our culture. It is our desire to invest in today's youth ministry leaders, with the goal of both encouraging and equipping them in their work. We do that by bringing in a top name speaker whose current research is addressing one of the hot button topics in the youth ministry world. Those who work with youth are invited to "come back to school" for a day and attend our one-day professional conference free of charge.

We have been hosting the symposiums here on the Gordon College campus for nearly twenty years and the response of the youth ministry community of New England has been tremendous.

Parents' Symposiums

In today's fast-changing culture, the job of parenting (and grandparenting) has gotten much more challenging. It is not unusual for parents to find themselves looking for answers and information so that they can best guide their children through the turbulent waters of adolescence. It is with all of this in mind that we have added a parenting component to our symposium series. Gordon College's Parents' Symposiums will look at some of the challenging issues of parenting with the goal of better equipping parents for the important job that they do each and every day.
