Harold Heie is a Senior Fellow and Founding Director at the Center for Christian Studies at Gordon College and a Senior Fellow at the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities. He served for forty years as a teacher and academic administrator at Gordon College, The King's College (NY), Northwestern College (IA), and Messiah College (PA).

Professor Melkonian-Hoover teaches Latin American Politics, Developing Nations, and Women and Politics. She is co-chair of the International Affairs major and recently co-authored "Democratic Progress and Regress," published in Political Research Quarterly.
 

Dorothy F. Boorse

Dorothy joined the Gordon Faculty in January, 1999. Her primary research and teaching interests are in aquatic community ecology and invasive species. Her biological research focus is on vernal pools. She spends a great deal of time connecting science to non-scientists and looking at ways science and faith integrate, particularly in the area of environmental ethics. As a representative of the Noah Alliance, Dorothy testified on behalf of a Christian environmental ethic in a House of Representatives Subcommittee hearing in June 2005. She is the advisor for the newly formed student group, Advocates for A Sustainable Future, a part of the GCSA and is the AuSable Institute of Environmental Studies representative at Gordon. Dorothy is the author of Global City, a set of interactive activities published by Prentice-Hall to accompany Environmental Science, a textbook by Richard Wright. Dorothy was a fellow of the Center For Christian studies from 2005-2006 and received the Distinguished Junior Faculty Award at Gordon College in 2002. She has a strong interest in mentoring women in science.
