The Gordon in Lynn Internship program is an intensive leadership development opportunity for those students wishing to dig deeper into urban engagement and community development. Through an application process, we select around a dozen students to serve as interns. Each intern is placed at a community partner where she or he acts as a liaison between the organization and Gordon College, recruiting and coordinating other students to serve there. In addition, interns gather for weekly teaching, training, mentoring and fellowship. We encourage students to commit for a full year and stipends are paid twice a semester.
