The following credentials are required for first-time transfer applicants and are necessary for completing admissions and financial aid applications to Gordon. Gordon reserves the right to require additional application materials, should they be necessary, in order to make a sound admission decision. It is the student's responsibility to submit records of all academic courses in which they have enrolled.
To receive credit for coursework earned at other colleges and universities, students should request their official transcripts be sent directly to the Admissions Office at Gordon College. Once we receive these transcripts our Registrar will evaluate and send you a transfer evaluation. Most credits earned at another regionally-accredited institution will transfer to Gordon if the courses have been completed with a grade of C- or above and are applicable to a liberal arts program. Pass/fail courses are not transferable without official validation that the minimum passing grade is C. Courses taken at an non-regionally accredited institution will be reviewed on a case by case basis and credit will be awarded with the approval of the Registrar's office and appropriate academic department. Gordon College reserves the right to determine the transferability of credits earned at other institutions. A student's Gordon cumulative grade point average is computed only on credits attempted in courses listed in the Gordon catalog.
