Boys and Girls Club is offering unpaid internships in their after-school program. The program operates from 2--6 p.m. Monday through Friday and would involve 10-20 hours of work each week. Gregg House provides educational and enrichment programs to Lynn children between the ages of 5 and 13 years. My Brother's Table is looking for one, maybe two doormen or women. Weekdays 5--7:30 p.m. and weekends 2--4:30 p.m. Weekday rate is $12.50/hour and weekend rate is $15.00/hour. Door staff usually work two or three shifts a week (we try to have two doormen on at a time). Days to be arranged. The door staff must be able to do some heavy lifting (pans of food, donations of food) and have a gently assertive but compassionate presence with guests. Children's Friend is looking for Therapeutic Mentors who are responsible to work with youth, under the age of 21, in any setting where the youth resides. The Therapeutic Mentor offers structured, one to one, strength based support services between the mentor and youth for the purpose of addressing daily living, social and communication needs. The Therapeutic Mentor works with the youth to help promote age appropriate behaviors, interpersonal communication, functional skill building, problem-solving and conflict resolution through specific activities.
