Languages and Linguistics Grad Profiles

Kathryn Malczyk, Class of 2006
Kathryn, who studied abroad at Heidelberg University during her junior year, received a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship, United States' flagship program in international educational exchange. She is currently studying and working in Germany as a Teaching Assistant, teaching English as a second language.

Melissa Moody, Class of 1999
Melissa is working on her Master's in Latin American Studies and is teaching English for speakers of other languages in the Blackstone Valley Community Action Program.
 
Arthur Demosthenes, Class of 1983
Arthur is a bilingual teacher at Waltham High School in Waltham, MA.   He also helps the city's Haitian community by being a liaison for them as well as being the pastor of the first Haitian church in the city.

Margit Mayberry, Class of 1977
Margit is currently teaching English and Spanish at Broome Community College in Binghamton, NY.

Sandra Sue (Geeting) Horner, Class of 1970, Barrington College
Sue has earned a Ph.D. from Northwestern University in Religion and American Culture. The focus of her dissertation topic was on the social history of the contemporary Evangelical feminist movement.
