Visa Procedures
After you are admitted to Gordon College, you will receive in the mail an immigration form I-20. We recommend that you read all documents, as well as all pre-arrival information that is sent to you over the summer. Included is valuable information about what to expect and how to prepare for getting your F-l student visa. You will then need to make an appointment at the United States Embassy or Consulate. Further discussions about immigration regulations will be shared at the international student orientation.
International Orientation - Date to be Determined
This specialized orientation is required for all international students. It is held just prior to the new student orientation. It will be important for you to schedule flights according to international orientation dates. When you know of your flight schedule, you must email them to the international student advisor. If you do not have access to email, please allow sufficient time to mail us that information. We will then know when to pick you up at Logan Airport in Boston.

What to Bring
Casual clothing is worn by most students. It may be helpful to have one or two more dressy or formal outfits as well. When the winter comes, it is important to have gloves, hats, jackets, and warm sweaters/pants. You will also need to have blankets, pillows, sheets (for a Twin size bed), and toiletries (shampoo, soap, etc). If you don't bring everything with you, don't worry because we can help you purchase these items during the orientation time.
