Christian College of the Liberal Arts & Sciences

Based on Gordon College's mission of educating men and women characterized by intellectual maturity and Christian character, Gordon offers a Christian college education focusing on the liberal arts and sciences to its students. As in other traditional liberal arts Christian colleges, Gordon requires all students to take part in the broad core curriculum, in which the students take classes like Christianity, Character and Culture Seminar, Biblical Studies, Foreign Language, Social and Natural Sciences regardless of their majors. True to the original goals of many of the premier liberal arts institutions like Harvard, Gordon College firmly believes that the Christian belief and intellectual pursuits are complementary, not contradictory. Within various classes and throughout the rest of college life, students are strongly encouraged to seek the integration of their faith and learning.

Academic Support Center ( ASC )
The ASC offers many services for Gordon students. They can help proofread or edit a paper, offer help with time management, or set up a tutor for extra help. Professors are also very helpful and available to students who need assistance. All of them have office hours that are designated times to meet with students.

Global Education Office(GEO)
Gordon provides many opportunities to study in other colleges and programs in the United States or around the world. How would you like to spend a semester studying in Oregon, Washington D.C., Orvieto, Italy, Aix-en-Provence, France or at one of the other Christian colleges in the Christian Consortium?
