Transfer Student Orientation

We know this isn’t your first time around, but it’s still important for you to feel welcome—and get the hang of being on a new campus. We organize your Welcome Week with other transfers, not with traditional first-time first year students. While much of the information in our general Welcome Week  sessions will help you get started, we want to give you the chance to connect with fellow transfer students, so your schedule will differ slightly for sessions and activities.

Here’s a breakdown of the transfer-only events you have to look forward to! 

Transfer Orientation Welcome Week transfer-only highlights :

• Bonfire and smores at Gordon’s on-campus pond 
• Welcome meet and greet with the College president and his leadership team
• Off-campus and campus social and recreational activity options with other transfers and seasoned Gordon students.
• Academic advising follow-ups and academic program welcome session

Note: Your pre-arrival task list is the same as first-year students, so be sure to complete everything before you move in!
