Transfer Students Orientation

While transfers have already experienced the challenge of at least one college transition, adjusting to a new home takes more than simply showing up the day before classes begin. Thus, Gordon's Transfer Orientation program seeks to address the transitional needs of a new student while accounting for the past experiences of a former collegian.

While they participate in many Orientation events along with freshmen, transfers are also placed in their own O-Crews and have a transfer-specific Boston Day (among other things).

Before you arrive to campus, there are a few important tasks for you to accomplish:

1Using the New Student Wizard, set up your Gordon username and email.
You will need your birthdate and student ID to complete this step. Your student ID will be mailed to you.

2Begin working through GC101.
GC101 is an online “pre-orientation” introduction to the College. We’ve included a wide-range of information that will make your transition to Gordon as smooth as possible. There are several tasks that you will need to complete which are outlined in this program
