Parent Resources

Orientation is an important transition for both students and their families, and we have thoughtfully designed a schedule to provide the most effective way to ease your arrival and connection to campus. The parent and family programs run concurrently with new student Orientation, and we urge all families to take part in the full array of activities provided. New students will be full participants in their own program beginning at dinner Friday night.

There are activities for family members on Friday, August 19 and Saturday, August 20, including a Welcome Tent with area information, a Sibling Program for any younger siblings who may be traveling with you, and a Parents Orientation program. The final event for family members is the Assurance and Affirmation Service, after which families will be given "transition time" to say their goodbyes before departing the campus. The parent and family portion of Orientation is concluded by 5 p.m. on Saturday.
