Through worship, small group study, advocacy and awareness, Gordon students are committed to helping each other love God and love their neighbors.
Through the Discipleship Branch and the Worship Branch of the Gordon College Student Ministries (GCSM), students can grow through small groups, mentoring programs and worship teams.
Gordon students are encouraged to start their own student clubs around issues they're passionate about. While groups can range from a Business Club to Chess Club, some have more of a justice bent like the International Justice Mission, Not for Sale, Amnesty International, or Advocates for a Sustainable Future (ASF).
Advocacy and Awareness
The Office of Community Engagement (OCE) supports students, faculty, and staff engaging in social justice causes though raising awareness and advocacy efforts. This could include hosting speakers, concerts, films, or one-time service-projects.
College Bound is an educational/enrichment program for children from Lynn's Curwin Circle, a subsidized housing development. Gordon students tutor and mentor children from kindergarten through middle school. College Bound partners with national federal work-study funds and is administered through the Office of Community Engagement.
